READ 1,000 BOOKS BEFORE KINDERGARTEN!

Does it seem impossible? It’s not! We’re challenging you to read 1,000 books with your child before s/he starts kindergarten, a goal experts say children need to help them learn to read for themselves.

Every time you finish 100 books, you’ll get a small prize and a new logsheet to record another 100 books. Don't worry -- you can repeat that favorite book as many times as you need to.

Take every chance you have to read with your children. By reading just five stories a day you and your child will have read over 1,000 books in less than a year. That’s potentially two books at breakfast and three books at bedtime — and that doesn’t even count storytime at the library!

1000 LIBROS ANTES COMENZAR EL KINDERGARTEN

¿Parece imposible? ¡Pero no lo es! Los estamos retando a leer 1000 libros con su hijo/a antes de que comienza el kínder — un experto dice que los niños que leen 1000 libros o más aprenden a leer por si mismos.

Aproveche cada oportunidad que tiene para leer con su hijo/a. Los resultados de leer cinco historias al día en menos de un año equivalen a 1000 libros o más. ¡Si lee dos libros en el desayuno y tres a la hora de dormir tiene cinco leídos en un día y eso no cuenta la horade historia en la biblioteca!
